Hi there, I’m Charity Teague, founder, chocolatier, and the midnight dreamer behind Midnight Chocolatier in San Antonio, Texas.

​If you’re new to my world, welcome! If you’ve been with me from those first midnight batches or stood in a line at one of my pop-ups, thank you from the bottom of my chocolate-covered heart for believing in this vision.
My journey didn’t begin with an artisan chocolate shop, but in many ways, it was always leading here …chasing a path where passion met purpose. It started in culinary school, where I fell in love with precision, patience, and the tiny details most never notice. Graduation was a hard-earned milestone, made possible by the unwavering support of my parents. It lit the spark, but it was only the beginning.
I trained with some of the best in the business, from culinary school in New Mexico to the French Pastry School in Chicago, and advanced chocolate programs in Las Vegas. I designed desserts for five-star restaurants, crafted towering wedding cakes, and painted thousands of bon bons by hand.
​What began in 2018 as quiet, late-night recipe testing slowly transformed into a true grassroots adventure: pop-up markets, small-batch creations, and chocolates infused with heart and story.​
It all started with a few simple tools, a love for vintage nostalgia, and an even deeper desire to create something that truly mattered.​ Over time, it became more than just chocolate, it became an experience, a conversation, a connection, shared one piece at a time.

It's a leap into what I love, heart and soul. It's who I am. And I'm so glad you're here.
